Dear ,We hope that you and yours are keeping safe. We are excited to announce our line up of events for our 20th Anniversary Celebration taking place from the 30th of November to the 4th of December 2020. Please find the highlights below:

 

 Our 20th Anniversary Celebration Week 

This year marks our 20

 

year of supporting Nigerian entrepreneurs to start, grow and scale their businesses. To commemorate this, we have lined up the following events for the 20

 

Anniversary Celebration Week:

  • Monday, 30th of November 2020- A special feature documentary showcasing our journey and impact over the past 20 years. This documentary will be premiered on YouTube and Facebook.

  • Tuesday,1st of December- We will be hosting our 6th Annual Policy Dialogue Series on Entrepreneurship. Find registration details below.

  • Wednesday, 2nd of  December- We will have a special book launch and watch out for the unveiling. 

  • Thursday 3rd of December- Our Annual Celebration & Awards Ceremony. 

  • Friday 4th of December- Announcing our Virtual Launch of FATE Foundation's E-Learning Certificate Courses.

Our Graduation, Annual Celebration and Award Ceremonies

FATE Foundation's Annual Celebration is a day that we will be graduating entrepreneurs we supported in the course of the year, give out awards to outstanding performers and lastly, celebrate everyone who has supported us on our journey for the past 20 years. 

This will happen on Thursday, December 3, 2020. It will be a virtual event and we will share more details about the event with you soon.

Nominations are open for the 2020 FATE Foundation  SME Journalist Award

FATE Foundation is glad to announce that the 2020 FATE SME Journalist Award nomination process is now open. The SME Journalist Award is a yearly honour to a Nigerian Journalist covering the Nigerian MSME/ Entrepreneurship space.

Criteria

  • Must be attached to a Media House (No Freelance);

  • Must be Nigerian;

  • Print Journalists must send in links to published stories;

  • TV/Radio Journalists must send in audio files and/or social media links for featured stories;

  • Photo Journalists must submit creative pictures that tell a story;

  • Journalists must cover the Nigerian MSME/Entrepreneurship space;

  • Entries must have been published or aired between December 2019 and October 1, 2020

Deadline

Applications must be sent in by

midnight November 8, 2020

Prize includes

: 

Scholarship to attend an Entrepreneurial Management program at FATE Foundation, a cash prize and a Laptop.

The award winner will be announced at the 20th Anniversary Celebration taking place on the 3rd of December, 2020.

FATE Foundation's Business Recovery Programme

If you're looking to build resilience during and beyond the COVID-19 pandemic, our "

Business Recovery Programme

(BRP)" was designed to help you achieve this goal.

This BRP was specially put together by the Alumni Exco and FATE Foundation team for members of the alumni community with these focus areas:

4. Resources & Market Linkages

This programme will be FREE to access to all FATE Alumni for a limited time period and it will be implemented virtually.
