Our Events

On Thursday, September 30, 2021, we (FATE Foundation and Facebook) announced the 100 Nigerian Entrepreneurs, who will receive small business cash grants ranging from Two Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN200,000) to One Million Naira (NGN1,000,000). These entrepreneurs are youth led businesses, who are alumni members of the Aspiring Entrepreneurs Digital programme (AEP Digital) from 2018-2021.Ten entrepreneurs including Uzoma Obi of Uzi Cakes and Bakes; Hauwa Othman of 8Fifteen Skincare and Prosper Chidinma Erem of Proache shoes received One Million naira (NGN1,000,000); Twenty entrepreneurs received Five Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN500,000) while Seventy entrepreneurs received Two Hundred Thousand Naira (NGN200,000).We are elated to support these young entrepreneurs, whose respective businesses are creating jobs and socio-economic impact across the country. Highlights from the 6th FATE Annual Alumni Conference 

The 6th Edition of the FATE Annual Alumni Conference themed: "Resetting your Business to Thrive in Challenging Times" was a great success. The virtual conference was held on the 30th of September, 2021 and was broadcast from a live studio set up at the office of FATE Foundation. Over 1,000 people joined in across the country.The conference was graced with Industry thought leaders in George Onafowokan, Coleman Wires & Cables ; Fola Laoye, HealthMarkets, Toki Mabogunje, President, Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry; Abubakar Suleiman, CEO Sterling Bank Plc; Yewande Zaccheaus, Chairman Eventful Nigeria; and Mr. Oluwole B. Oshin, Founder and Group Managing Director, Custodian Investment Plc.Some of the highlights of the event was the announcement of the Facebook business grant winners of 100 FATE Foundation AEP Digital Alumni (2018-2021) Members walking away with funds in the range of N200,000 to N1,000,000 each, key updates of alumni activities, and the presentation of the alumni Executive Committee report.Did you miss the conference?
