Invitation to the Pioneer FATE Institute Fellows Induction Ceremony

Dear ,On behalf of the The FATE Institute at FATE Foundation, I am pleased to invite you to the Induction ceremony of our FATE Institute Fellows scheduled to hold virtually on Monday, August 22, 2022 by 11.00am WAT.

Early this year, we launched the FATE Institute Fellows Program to showcase and support policy experts, economists and academia and those with fresh thinking and innovative approaches to entrepreneurship policy issues in Nigeria.

Following a rigorous shortlisting and selection process, we are happy to share with you our pioneer class of Fellows who will be inducted on Monday.

  • Jonathan Ikeolumba, PhD Candidate (Finance) - Lagos Business School, Pan-Atlantic University

  • Motunrayo Akinsola, PhD (Economics) - University of South Africa

  • Omosalewa Olawoye, PhD (Economics and Social Science Consortium) - University of Missouri - Kansas City

  • Rilwan Aderinto, PhD Candidate (Public Policy) - University of Ibadan

  • Wilson Erumebor, PhD Candidate (Economics) - School of African & Oriental Studies, University of London

We are opening up this Induction Ceremony to our wider  FATE Institute community not just to welcome our Fellows but also to listen to our special guests speakers who will be providing guidance to our Fellows as they commence their 2-year Fellowship program.  

  • Mr Asue Ighodalo, Founding Partner, Banwo & Ighodalo and Chairman, Nigerian Economic Summit Group ( NESG). Mr Ighodalo will be giving the Keynote Speech on “Linking Entrepreneurship and Socio-Economic Impact: The Gaps, Priorities and Opportunities”.

  • Dr Jumoke Oduwole, Special Adviser to the President on Ease of Doing Business. Dr Oduwole will be speaking on “Partnering with Government to facilitate evidence-based Policy Strategies”.

  • Mrs Aisha Abubakar, Board Director Unity Bank Plc  and Fmr. Minister of State, Federal Ministry of Industry, Trade and Investment (FMITI). Mrs Abubakar will be speaking on “Developing Data Insights to drive Effective Decision-making and Institutional Change”.
